When I first came to this website, I came here to ask for help to get a front door (used or new). I'm a widow who has a low paying job. My front door in almost off the hinges, its an old door and need new wood all around the door. The locks barely work. But after reading and saw that so many people need far more than what I need, I decided to see what I can do for others in need. I passed on information in hopes that it can help someone.

Go online and check out the local food banks in your area.

Apply for food stamps, they will give you emergency food stamps and also will tell you where to go for free food.

You can take him to a health center to get the physical.  And the doctor calling the insurance company, I never heard of such. You can always choose another doctor. Hope all goes well for you and him.

She doesn't have gas on, she's checking with agencies to see who can help. The list you provided  thanks it is very helpful.  Her car insurance expired yesterday and she has no other way to get to work. Hopefully, she will find help.

Yes, most programs are out of money that's why one should apply early as possible. Sometimes that help if they aren't using a lottery system. I've been waiting for weatherzation to come and do my house, going on 5yrs.

You could try a temp agency, that will help until you find something else. Also, you could land a full time job.

I have a friend who need help with paying her gas bill. Right now she has no gas. She has a low paying job and she's in school. She need help before winter comes.
